Want to display the RSS feed with ticker or scroller, This plug-in will display RSS feed with simple scroller or ticker. It gradually reveals each item into view from left to right. This will display 1 by 1 with horizontal scroller.

To display front end

  1. Go to widget menu and drag and drop the “rss scroller” widget to your sidebar location. or
  2. Copy and past the below mentioned code to your desired template location.

To Update the Scroller or Ticker setting:

  1. Go to ‘rss scroller’ link under SETTINGS TAB.

Installation Instruction & Configuration

  • Unpack the *.zip file and extract the /rss-scroller/ folder.
  • Drop the ‘rss-scroller’ folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder
  • In word press administration panels, click on plug-in from the menu.
  • You should see your new ‘rss scroller’ plug-in listed under Inactive plug-in tab.
  • To turn the word presses plug-in on, click activate.
  • Go to ‘rss scroller’ link under SETTINGS TAB to Add/edit/delete the news.
  • Copy and paste the mentioned code to your desired template location!.

I just installed this. I get an errror – Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]:URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in … wp-content/plugins/rss-scroller/rss-scroller.php on line 43

Do I need to configure something on the server?

It looked a nice plug-in, installed it, then uninstalled it as soon as I saw an ad in the admin panel for Evony.

Because of the ad, I lost trust in your plug-in incase it displays random ads in the RSS feed. Now if it was a PayPal donate button shown in the admin panel, I would have continued to use. If it proved its worth I would eventually donate money. Just my opinion though

I put that ad in admin to check, if the person really using my plug-in or not.

You can remove the ad easily.
To remove the ad simply remove this “timepass()” function from page(rss-scrolle.php) and delete the extra.php file!!

Plz add RTL option is this one , i don’t want to use anyother , i need this specially
