The plug-in works fine with your pre-loaded images, but won’t display my .jpg images.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Great Widget, many thanks :)

How would I get the images centred?

I have portrait and landscape images and I want to centre them in the container.

Thanks

David

Great plugin! I was looking for something like this (maybe a little bit complex).

Am I wrong, or you can’t give each image it’s own link?

How do I take the 3 images of the wrestlers out and put my own pictures in? I loaded all of my pictures in the gallery subfolder but word press keeps loading your images instead of mine!

Remove the default images from gallery folder and put all your .jpg images within gallery sub folder, and refresh the front end page!
it will show the newly uploaded images into sidebar!

Looks like this will not work with Windows Vista. I believe it relies on having thumbs.db which is not used in Vista.

Is this correct?

OK. I figured it out – the file extension MUST be .jpg (lowercase) for the images to be found. Mine were .JPG and so didn’t show.

Just renaming the files worked. However, my pics were too large, so I had to also resize them before they would show properly.

Thanks for the great plugin.

In case anyone else might need it before the next release, the change I made to accept lowercase extensions is below. It was made to line 41 in drop-in-slideshow-gallery.php.

if(!is_dir($DIISG_file) && (strpos(strtolower($DIISG_file), ‘.jpg’)>0
or strpos(strtolower($DIISG_file), ‘.gif’)>0)) // mam

I’ve installed it twice today after upgrading to 2.8.5 (myself and through WP install) and it isn’t showing. When I did it the Plugin didn’t show up in my list of Plugins. Then when WP it did, but I’m not seeing it under Appearance > Widgets now.

Apparently I need some lunch. I have better English and grammar than the previous post implies.

Any plans to add an auto size feature? I don’t want to go back and re size all of my old pictures to make them fit.

iam using IE 6. and the slide not figure like im setting in widget (specially the Width). So i change some code like this :

DIISG.prototype.createcontainer=function(w, h){
document.write(”)
document.write(”)
document.write(”)
document.write(”)
this.DIISG_slideshowref=document.getElementById(this.id)
this.DIISG_canvases=[]
this.DIISG_canvases[0]=this.DIISG_slideshowref.childNodes[0]
this.DIISG_canvases[1]=this.DIISG_slideshowref.childNodes[1]
}

and it works in IE 6.

Thx

My pics are showing. But they don’t show in the order in the file system. I renumbered them into running numbers, but the display is still a shuffled display. I need the pics to be in a certain order. What should I do?
